  Gourmet Burger Kitchen becomes a one stop shop for burgers. There is a great menu of custom and classic burgers. Cost becomes ~15 GBP per person for a burger, chips, and drink. Service on the lakefront adds a pleasant ambiance for hanging out with family or friends.

  A horrendous experience. I'll overlook the extortionate prices and
  talk about the service and food instead. I decided that a chicken
  burger was the way forward, so up to the counter I trot. Now, I am all
  for diversity but it would be great if the lady taking the order had
  some sort of English. The burgers all come with stuff on them. Do I
  asked for plain with a slice of cheese. She charged me for a Satay
  burger. I pointed this out and she looked at me like I was stupid.
  Having asked for a slice of cheese instead of Mayo, relish and salad,
  you would think it would be simple. I was charged an extra 1.65 even
  though I wanted less. I complained and was met by incredulity. I
  persisted and she slapped a pound coin on the counter to shut me up.
  When the food did come, the chicken was coated in breadcrumbs that
  were dripping fat. Honestly the chicken had a "Tesco Value" quality. I
  would never set foot in this place again :-(

  I really like this restaurant. There are plenty of tables in the restaurant and it is very spacious. It is located on the boardwalk row of restaurants in lakeside. It overlooks the lake and during the summer you can sit outside on the decking to eat. The food is delicious and has a wide range on the menu including I think buffalo and wild boar! When you arrive you are seated at a table, but when you are ready to order you have to go up to the counter and pay whilst ordering. The food tastes fresh and different from any other restaurant. I would recommend it.
